We are thrilled to announce the 2015 lineup for INCOMING Festival. Bringing you the best emerging theatre companies from across the UK, the 2015 lineup features 23 theatre companies with six world premiers, four London premiers and the return of some of last year’s biggest hit shows. Companies stretch the country from Hull, Bristol, Manchester, Norwich and London, as well as internationally from Spain and Norway. It is our biggest festival yet!
Incoming Festival returns to our partner New Diorama Theatre and will once again be working with the Peter Brook Awards to present the new award, the Peter Brook Festival Award to a company that performs as part of INCOMING with a £2000 cash prize.
We’ll be premiering RemoteControl Theatre’s new show, Project Haha, the Peter Brook Festival Award shortlisted Smoking Apples will premier In Our Hands and festival-goers will get the chance to see extracts from the new Curious Directive show Bellwether. 2014 hit company Barrel Organ will be presenting the first outing of their new show Some People Talk About Violence and new writing company Fine Mess Theatre premier Islands while Kandinsky present their their new work Dog Show.
There are London premier’s from international company Atres Bandes with Locus Amoenus, whilst Hull based companies Middle Child, Pub Corner Poets and The Roaring Girls all present their shows in London for the first time.
We’re proud to be bringing back Peter Brook Festival Award winners Kill The Beast, who presented He Had Hairy Hands at 2014 Incoming Festival and award winning Sh!t Theatre present their revised Women’s Hour after a successful run last year. 2014 hit company On The Run will be presenting their five star show So It Goes and bringing a touch of cabaret style theatre companies Figs in Wigs and Eggs Collective bring their tantalising shows to INCOMING.
